We conceived the System 78 collection to offer fine watchmaking in its purest form. Each timepiece starts with a fundamental horological principle that we reimagine according to our science of movement philosophy: the power delivery in our Gravity Equal Force, the date display in our Orbit, and the classical three-hand configuration in our Tribute 1. The System 78 collection is elevated through technical mastery and artisanal excellence. It is very “us”. And that’s why we named it after our founders’ shared birth year: 1978.
Resonance
The hardest way to make a watch. The best way to wear one.
Resonance is a physics phenomenon that occurs when two balance springs regulate each other thanks to their emitted vibrations. This results in greater chronometrical stability. For centuries, watchmakers tried to harness this effect—and mostly failed. We succeeded with our patented resonance clutch spring, a component as thin as a human hair that creates stable resonance even during wrist movements. The Resonance collection features three model lines: the Mirrored Force Resonance, the Dual Time Resonance and the groundbreaking Minute Repeater Resonance. Each one of them brings one of the most complicated achievements in watchmaking to your wrist: mastering the resonance phenomenon.
