The Tribute² – Copper Edition is a homage to artisanal hand-finishing and exposed mechanics, featuring a distinctive open-worked design with remarkable three-dimensionality. The visible mechanical elements of the innovative movement, combined with elaborate hand decorations, create an intriguing visual depth. The Tribute² – Copper Edition highlights a mainplate with a distinctive grattage design in an elegant copper hue. It also features an offset dial and a black-polished bridge holding the innovative “motor barrel,” which offers 100 hours of power reserve. Limited to just 10 pieces.

Consistent with Armin Strom’s approach of showcasing innovative mechanical elements on the dial side of our watches, the Tribute² is equipped with a skeletonized and hand-bevelled dial-side motor barrel. This barrel is distinguished by an arbor that turns around the mainspring within the barrel itself; making it more efficient while also conserving space. It provides 100 hours of continuous operation.
The Tribute² seamlessly blends traditional watchmaking with contemporary design, reflecting our core values: transparent mechanics that reveal the intricate inner workings and a three-dimensional structure that adds visual depth through layered elements. The off-center fumé gray dial enhances this depth. Complementing the dial’s asymmetry, the crown is positioned at 2 o’clock.
We developed and manufactured the manually-wound movement of the Tribute² entirely in-house. Consistent with our artisanal approach to watchmaking, every part is hand-finished to the highest haute horology standards. The motor barrel is skeletonized in this edition, with each opening hand-bevelled. The bridge that holds the motor barrel is made out of steel, allowing it to be black-polished. Additionally, the three-quarter bridge is bevelled and polished at a 60° angle—an arduous process that takes twice as long as more commonly applied methods.
