Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition

Ref. WG23-DT.FE

All time zones in perfect harmony: a GMT experiment in resonance.
For our 15th anniversary, we propose a research question: Could two coexisting time zones achieve perfect harmony? The Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition answers this question: yes, through the scientific art of resonance.

A MILESTONE IN THE HISTORY OF HOROLOGY, ELEVATING TIMEKEEPING TO BOTH AN ART FORM AND A SCIENCE.

When two springs beat as one.

At the heart of this horological experiment is our ARF22 calibre. It is the 18th in-house movement born from our manufacture, engineered, designed and built entirely by us. Like the 17 movements before it, it’s a true in-house affair. It features two balances that work in resonance, allowing their oscillations to synchronise and mutually regulate each other.

With 231 components meticulously arranged and orchestrated to perform at 25,200 vibrations per hour, the ARF22 delivers 42 hours of power reserve. The GMT function of the timepiece uses two independent displays, each with its own day/night indicator. And thanks to independently adjustable hour and minute hands, you can set time zones that deviate from GMT by fractions of an hour. This feature makes the Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition truly global—whether you are tracking time in Biel, New York or New Delhi.

But the essence of this timepiece is found in its mechanical heart. There, our patented clutch spring ensures that resonance remains stable even during wrist movements—a milestone in the history of horology, elevating timekeeping to both an art form and a science.

The 3Ds: depth, detail, design.

The design of the Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition reveals pure horological architecture. Within the elegant proportions of its 39 mm white gold case, layer upon layer of hand-finished components create depth, each level showcasing different decoration techniques. This three-dimensional construction embodies our philosophy of transparent mechanics, where every visible element tells its own story of craftsmanship.

Two sky-blue dials with grenage finish framed by black chapter rings take centre stage and seem to float above the kinetic spectacle of the balances working in resonance.

Finishing for compliments.

As with all our timepieces, each Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition component is meticulously finished by hand. Intricate decoration techniques such as hand-polished angles throughout all bridges demonstrate our commitment to excellence. Additional refined details include black-polished surfaces, circular graining, perlage patterns and Geneva stripes that adorn nearly every element—even those concealed from view. We believe no detail is too small for perfection, even if it remains hidden. Some might call that excessive. We call it: doing things the right way.
