In the ARF21 ZG calibre, our patented clutch spring connects two independent balances. It allows them to find their natural resonance within minutes while creating a level of chronometric stability conventional resonance systems simply can not match. Complementing this technical achievement, the twin-seconds flyback mechanism adds both functionality and visual drama, permitting both second hands to be reset simultaneously without stopping the movement. Also, the movement offers 80 hours of power reserve. Yup. 80.
The Mirrored Force Resonance Zeitgeist reveals the resonance mechanism in all its complexity. Every component has been designed to highlight our patented clutch spring mechanism—that remarkable piece of engineering machined from a single piece of steel as thick as a human hair. The 43mm platinum case of the Mirrored Force Resonance Zeitgeist frames the mechanical display of the timepiece, while the minimalist 18K white gold dial with “vernis laqué poli” finish provides elegant contrast to the intricate mechanics beneath.
Each component of this unique timepiece was carefully hand-decorated. From the polishing on the resonance clutch spring to the precise beveling on the balance bridges, no detail is overlooked. We’ve even hand-finished components that are barely visible—a respect for the tradition of haute horlogerie that defines our approach to watchmaking.
