With its distinctive gratté-finished copper mainplate, this limited edition of 10 pieces puts forward a rare decorative technique, mastered by only a handful of artisans today.

We haven’t conceived our AMW21 hand-wound calibre to just tell the time – with it, we wanted to reimagine energy management in watch movements. This is why we opted for a motor barrel design that optimizes the energy transmission from the mainspring. And with that design-choice, we’ve achieved a remarkable 100-hour power reserve in a compact architecture.
The Tribute² – Copper Edition balances contrasting elements. The off-center fumé grey dial sits against the copper-colored mainplate with its gratté texture. Grey meets copper, smooth meets textured. The skeletonized motor barrel reveals the movement’s mechanics, while the hands and hour markers in polished steel provide clear time reading. This interplay of contrasts embodies our idea of mechanics that intrigue the curious mind and satisfy the aesthetic eye.
Each component in the Tribute² – Copper Edition undergoes meticulous hand-decoration. The copper-colored mainplate’s structure is achieved through grattage – a technique where material is scraped by hand. The steel bridge holding the motor barrel is black-polished, while the three-quarter bridge has hand-polished bevels. Did someone say “Dedication”?

His extraordinary macro photography of hand-decorated movements inspired us to explore new frontiers in movement finishing techniques.
The Tribute² – Copper Edition is limited to 10 individually numbered pieces with a grey Alcantara calf leather strap and double folding clasp in stainless steel. Each watch comes with a 5-year warranty – and the promise that horological artistry will last generations.
